Automation engineer / consultant

We are looking for automation designers-consultants for our following areas of expertise:

Machine and Equipment Manufacturing

You participate in the planning, testing and implementation of automation systems either as an expert in the customer's project team or as a member of our own customer team. You already have previous work experience in automation design and commissioning tasks. As a designer, you program functionalities using, for example, PLC programming or SCADA systems. In addition, you are also usually responsible for testing the hardware and putting it into use.  Success in the task requires good project management skills and smooth cooperation with different stakeholders. You have also already used some design software, such as various tools from Siemens and Beckhoff. Your educational background can be e.g. machine automation engineer/graduate engineer. Your place of residence can be anywhere in Finland. However, the introductions related to the work of an automation designer require a good willingness to travel, often also abroad.

Process Industry

You participate in the planning, testing and implementation of automation systems either as an expert in the customer's project team or as a member of our own customer team. You have already gained experience in process industry automation design or instrumentation (e.g. specification and selection of sensors, routing, motors, valves). As a designer, you program functionalities using, for example, PLC programming or SCADA systems. In addition, you are also usually responsible for testing the hardware and putting it into use. Success in the task requires good project management skills and smooth cooperation with different stakeholders. Your educational background can be e.g. machine automation engineer/graduate engineer. In addition to basic automation planning tools such as Siemens' Tia Portal and PCS7, knowledge of ABB, ALMA, AVEVA, COMOS or Valmet DNA software would be a big plus. Your place of residence can be anywhere in Finland. However, the introductions related to the work of an automation designer require a good willingness to travel, often also abroad.

Mobile

You participate in the planning, testing and commissioning of vehicle automation systems either as an expert in the customer's project team or as a member of our own customer team. Vehicles are e.g. mobile work machines, vehicles moving on rails and transport vehicles designed for different purposes. Your job description may include system design, programming, as well as simulation and modeling. Success in the tasks also requires good project management skills and smooth cooperation with different stakeholders. Your educational background can be e.g. machine automation engineer/graduate engineer. You already know some of the programming languages ​​required in design, such as C++ and Python. CODESYS programming environment experience and simulation programs such as Matlab or Simulink are considered a big plus. You may have also worked with embedded systems and CAN bus technology. Your place of residence can be anywhere in Finland.

 

We are also looking for electrical design engineers for similar areas of expertise!

In all our tasks, we require good oral and written skills in Finnish and English.
